In an era when commercial entities dominate everyday life, the involvement of companies in social activities undoubtedly deserves a mention. The inclusion of social action in the operation of commercial entities is commonly referred to as corporate social responsibility. This concept is a very broad and interdisciplinary one. An organisation's corporate social responsibility can be defined as a unique way of thinking about doing business and an awareness of the impact of its values on people, society, the environment, market conditions and global processes. CSR is defined as: \"An organisation's responsibility for the impact of its decisions and activities (products, service, processes) on society and the environment\" through transparent and ethical behaviour that:<\/p>
Contributes to sustainable development,<\/li>
The health and well-being of society,<\/li>
Takes into account stakeholder expectations.<\/li><\/ul>
It is in the interest of companies to learn about and implement the main principles of CSR, which, in the long term, give them the chance to develop a high quality of the services they offer while caring for the environment and the satisfaction of their colleagues, thus gaining a competitive advantage.<\/p>
Thus, companies, organisations and individuals alike are not only responsible for economic and legal activities, but also for social activities and the realisation of their objectives. The commitment to social responsibility boils down to, among other things:<\/p>
Adhere to ethical operating and working standards,<\/li>
Implementing an action strategy that integrates all spheres of activity,<\/li>
Transparent information policy,<\/li>
Governance through dialogue and shared values,<\/li>
Building a transparent organisational culture,<\/li>
Responsibility for employees, colleagues and contractors,<\/li>
Building solutions that minimise negative environmental impacts,<\/li>
Building systemic solutions to support overcoming social problems (e.g. educational projects, mentoring programmes, knowledge and resource sharing).<\/li><\/ul>
The Business Solutions Centre carries out a range of activities that fit with the CRS principles in the everyday life of the organisation, from segregating rubbish and printing sparingly to using electronic versions of documents.<\/p>
We are also regularly involved in various activities for the benefit of the youngest, e.g. collecting donations through the National Charity Campaign \"Help Children Survive Winter\", environmental activities such as the \"1,000 Trees in a Minute\" campaign or supporting other institutions, e.g. cultural institutions.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
